Tasha Marie “Tash” Cope

Tasha Marie “Tash” Cope, 45, of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, passed away on August 8, 2026, in Bethlehem. She was born on July 2, 1981, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Tasha was the  daughter of Andrew Pingyar Sr. and Pamela Stevens, and was the biological daughter of Marlene Kundratik. She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Pingyar Sr.

Tasha was a mother to Evan, Elligah, and Tiyana Favors. She shared companionship with Ernesto Baez. She is also survived by her siblings, Shelly Pingyar, Michael Pingyar, Mariann McManus, Andrew Pingyar Jr., Jason Matz, Dominic Pacheco, and Joey, along with many extended family members and friends. Among those especially close to her were her nephew, Ralphy Carpentier Jr., and nieces, Kiara Carpentier and Aaliyah Carpentier.

Tasha attended Saints Cyril and Methodius, East Hills Middle School, and later attended Freedom and Liberty High Schools. She was active in athletics and the arts throughout her youth. She played softball for the Bethlehem Township Athletic Association (BTAA), cheered for the Bethlehem Raiders, and played clarinet in the band at Freedom High School. Tasha also had a natural talent for drawing and found joy in expressing her creativity through art.

A devoted sports fan, Tasha was especially passionate about the San Francisco 49ers and proudly supported her team. Those who knew and loved her will remember her for the unique personality, talents, and memories she shared with those around her.

Services will take place in the funeral home on Tuesday August 18th, 2026, viewing at 11 am, with the service beginning at 12 noon. Burial will follow services at Incarnation of our Lord Cemetery- Bethlehem.
