With heavy hearts, the family shares the passing of Shawn Lemans Jones on Saturday, May 9th,2026. He was born on February 7, 1974, in LaGrange, Georgia. He was the son of Erma Jean Roland and the late Eddie Dean Cotton.
Shawn worked in warehouse operations for many years, most recently as a Foreman for Manpower in Phillipsburg, New Jersey.
He loved watching movies, grilling, (especially shish kabobs) going for car rides, and listening to music. He loved his family and always checked in on his “Mom Dukes”. Shawn had an infectious, carefree laugh and an easygoing nature.
Shawn leaves behind his longtime partner, Michelle Strunk of Easton; daughter Brittany Little of Charlotte, North Carolina; sons Dominique Jones of Easton and Masada Jones of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and five bonus children: Jaeden Strunk, Kayshawna Tinner, Jonna Pettus, Nahkeem Perry, and Nashon Perry.
He also leaves behind six grandchildren, including Dominique Jones Jr., Sky’Lynn Jones, and Royal Perry; his brother, Michael P. Jones (Tiah); and his sister, Ramona “Monsue” Jones(Danny Brown).
Shawn is also survived by his nieces Kyeshia Lawrence (Eli), Brianna Freeman, Jynei Ramirezand Ashley McAvoy; nephews Terry L. Cameron Jr., Michael Jones Jr., Shawn McAvoy, andZion Jones; his longtime friend, Jermaine Brown; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and loved ones.
All are welcome to attend Shawn’s memorial gathering on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 12:30p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the American Legion Brown & Lynch, 2260 Corriere Rd. Easton, Pa 18045.
Shawn will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
