Born on May 28, 1955, in Fulton, NY, Roy was known for his warm spirit and infectious sense of humor, traits that endeared him to all who knew him.
Throughout his life, Roy dedicated himself to a variety of professions, including his work as a painter, mover, and ultimately as a maintenance technician. In each role, he brought a cheerful disposition that made him a treasured colleague and friend.
Roy had a deep passion for cooking, particularly relishing the joy of preparing breakfast on Sunday mornings. This love extended not just to food, but to the fellowship that came with sharing meals with family and friends. He cherished the moments spent with his two sons, Roy W. Mills III and Jonathan M. Mills. Together, they created countless memories, including many joyful afternoons watching NASCAR. The ones closest to him will remember endless laughter on the porch with a couple cold beers.
In addition to his immediate family, Roy is survived by his brother, Paul Mills. He was predeceased by his parents, Roy W. Mills Sr. and Helen Mills, both of whom left a lasting impact on his life.
