LaKesha Latoya Thelwell, affectionately known as “Kesha,” was born on August 13, 1988, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. She peacefully departed this life on August 1, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Cedar Crest in Allentown, Pennsylvania, at the age of 37.
LaKesha was the beloved daughter of William Singleton and Tammie Thelwell and the cherished sister of William Meleschuk. Above all, she was a devoted and loving mother whose children were the center of her world. She leaves behind her beloved children, Cherish Thelwell, Tru Mosley, and Patience Mosley, who will forever carry her love and memory in their hearts. She nows rests forever alongside her dearly loved son, Sincere Anthony Mosley, whose passing occurred just one day after her own. The bond between mother and son was unbreakable, and their memories will remain forever intertwined in the hearts of their family and loved ones.
LaKesha attended Spring Garden Elementary School, Northeast Middle School, and Liberty High School, later earning her GED. She built a career as a Payroll Specialist, where she was known for her diligence, professionalism, and strong work ethic.
Kesha had a vibrant spirit and found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved spending time in nature, shopping, binge-watching her favorite television shows, cooking meals for those she loved, and creating lasting memories with her children. Whether sharing laughter at home or enjoying time outdoors, she treasured every moment spent with family and friends.
She was blessed with lifelong friendships and leaves behind her devoted friends, Kylee Vermuelen, Tiara Rashad, Jazmyn McDonald, and Rey Diaz, whose love and support enriched her life. She was also preceded in death by her beloved Nana, an aunt, and her cherished dog, Paisley.
Though her time on earth was far too short, LaKesha's legacy of love, strength, compassion, and devotion to her family will live on. She touched many lives with her kindness, resilience, and caring heart. Her memory will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.
Services alongside her beloved son Sincere will be held on Saturday August 22, 2026 at Resurrected Life Church- Allentown. The viewing will take place from 9am-11am, followed by the celebration of life service under the direction of The Rev. Dr. Gregory Edwards. Burial will follow services at Grandview Cemetery- Allentown. A full obituary is forthcoming.
