Joel Pychinka

Joel Pychinka of Bethlehem,  a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on August 25, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospital – Anderson Campus. 

Joel leaves behind his devoted wife, Catherine Coleman; his daughters, Jessica Foster and her husband, Matthew, and Jennilyn Pychinka; and his grandchildren, Jailene, Sutton, Elijah Foster, and Alayah Favinger. He is also survived by his brothers, Jeffrey, John “Buzz,” and Jamie Pychinka; stepchildren, Daniel, Melissa, and Gregory, and their children, Chase, Amanii, and Annaleigh.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Jayne Pychinka.

The family extends special thanks to the extraordinary staff of St. Luke’s Palliative Care and I.C.U. for their compassion and professionalism during Joel’s time with them. Their care ensured that he was surrounded by warmth and comfort in his final days.

The family will receive family and friends at Joel's memorial gathering on September 8th, 2025 from 3 PM- 6PM at the Vanderburg Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
