George Edward "Eddie" Wynne

Mr. George Edward "Eddie" Wynne, of Easton, Pennsylvania, peacefully departed this life on Monday, July 21st, 2025, at his home. He was born on October 5th, 1940, the beloved son of the late George Alexander Wynne and the late Helen Virginia Wynne.

Eddie was a man of quiet strength, deep love for his family, and a lifelong commitment to integrity and hard work.

He received his early education in Easton High School, graduated in 1958 and went into the Army for 2 years. His career was spent at J. T. Baker chemical company for 34 years working as a chemical operator.

On January 27th 1968, he united in holy matrimony with Dorothy Choice Wynne, and together they shared a loving partnership of 57 years. He was a devoted husband and a proud father to his two sons, Troy and Todd Wynne.

He enjoyed going on football trips, listening to his oldie but goodies music, and his daily conversations with friends and family. He was a faithful member of Union A.M.E church, Easton/Reading old school club, Easton/P’Burg football club, Humanitarian Club, Rice Ebner Post 588, and the Lester Pfeffer.

He was preceded in death by George Alexander Wynne (father), Helen Virginia Wynne (mother), Mildred Wynne (aunt), and Nannie Wynne (aunt).

He leaves to cherish his memory: his beloved wife, Dorothy Choice Wynne of Easton; his sons, Troy Wynne (Easton, PA) and Todd Wynne (wife Kylie in Lincoln, NE). Grandchildren: Anthony Havens (Easton, PA), Alisandra Havens (Easton, PA), Todd A. Wynne (Lincoln, NE), Brenden M. Wynne (Myrtle Beach, SC), Alia M. Hernandez (Lincoln, NE), and Marcus J Wynne (Lincoln, NE)

Great Grandchildren: Todd A. Wynne Jr, Gabby Wynne, Ellie Wynne (all of Lincoln, NE), Brylee Wynne, Oaklynn Wynne, Easton Wynne (all of Myrtle Beach, SC).

Though he is no longer with us in body, Eddie’s legacy of love, strength, and faith will live on in all who had the honor of knowing him.
